    Translate Everything Automatically

      * Translate Everything Automatically is the default translation method and can be enabled from the setup wizard.
      * You can now choose a cutoff date for supported post types, only content created on or after that date will be included in Translate Everything Automatically; content created before it will not be translated.
      * You can now see the cost of translation per post, and the total cost, before enabling Translate Everything Automatically.
      * Translate Everything Automatically works only with the PTC engine. Existing sites are not affected and can continue using the Legacy engines (DeepL, Microsoft, Google).
      * Once enabled, Translate Everything Automatically runs in the background, the browser no longer needs to stay open.
      * Taxonomies and terms are now included in the Translate Everything Automatically process.
      * Custom fields are included by default in the Translate Everything Automatically process.

    Pay Once per Post & Language

      * When Translate Everything Automatically (TEA) is active, the site is billed once per page per language. Subsequent edits to the same content are free until the content exceeds its previously paid-for length.
      * This pricing applies only when Translate Everything Automatically is used with PTC (Private Translation Cloud), WPML’s own AI translation engine.

    Credits to Words Terminology Change

      * The GUI now displays the actual word count for each language, and the number of words charged by the translation engine.

    Translation Management Dashboard

      * New section in the Translation Dashboard for Taxonomies, designed so automatic translation can be used the same way as for posts.
      * The Translation Status section now displays details on failed translations, including a debug report and resolution steps.
      * Previously, you had to send one or two pieces of content for a test translation before you could enable Translate Everything Automatically. Now you can activate it directly from the Dashboard, without that test step.

    Translation Engine

      * PTC (Private Translation Cloud), WPML’s own AI translation engine, is now the recommended engine. The other three DeepL, Google, and Microsoft remain available but are labeled “Legacy.”
      * Review mode defaults: “No Review” is now the default review mode when PTC is enabled. For Legacy engines, the default is now “Review Before Publish.”

    Country Pair Configuration in Language Editing

      * New language settings with country-pair mapping.
      * Improved support for creating custom languages.
      * Displays Manual translation label for custom languages that are not mapped to a language supported by automatic translation

    Translation Flow Improvements

      * Supported languages are now automatically mapped, with a fallback to the base language code. For example, if a site has en-AU, the Advanced Translation Editor automatically falls back to general English and translates the content.
      * Translators with supported language pairs can translate or take over any translation, regardless of assignment. Accessing an in-progress translation displays a takeover notice.

    Improve Translations

      * PTC (Private Translation Cloud), WPML’s own AI translation engine, learns how you like your content translated. It automatically spots the corrections you keep making by hand. glossary terms, links, regional language variants, formality and turns them into one-time fixes.
      * Accept a suggestion once, and PTC applies it across every current and future translation for that language pair, so you never have to make the same edit twice.
      * A new Improve Translations tab under Translations surfaces suggestions, backed by a dashboard notice, an in-editor banner, and an email notification, so nothing slips by.
      * Available with the PTC engine only.

    Revamped, Distraction-Free Admin Interface

      * Single entry point for settings, with a usable search filter.
      * UI/UX updates to WPML’s navigation (main and secondary levels), and improved cross-linking between sections.
      * Translation Dashboard enhancements, including related views (Queue, Jobs, String Translation, etc.).
      * Translation Dashboard improvements for clearer status indicators and next-step guidance.
      * Regrouping of settings for better logical organization.
      * Revised labels and descriptions for previously unclear settings.
